DC to Nome... to Home.

Wow. It's been more than two months since I left Argentina... I am now back in the US, have been for some time.

I'm currently working at Best Buy, living with my parents, my older sister, and my brother-in-law here in Mount Vernon.

I'm also applying to be a police officer. I started taking tests earlier this month, and I have one interview set up so far for next week. The whole process takes a few months, what with background checks, physical exams, polygraphs, interviews, and everything else...

I'm not sure when my next blog post will be. This blog was created a year and a half ago as a way to keep friends and family apprised of my travels through Washington, DC and the East Coast during my internship in the summer of 2007. Then it followed my year in Nome, volunteering for KNOM. And when I got back, it was a convenient place to document a few weeks in South America.

Now I'm not sure what will become of this little piece of my life. I'll definitely keep it here for all the memories, but future updates on my life may come from a new blog. I'll be sure to post the location here if I ever do start a new one.
